Day 4 Project Me

So yesterday was a good day. I got in a teriffic workout, I mean my thighs are still yelling at me today I did my cardio and then did about a million lunges (okay not really a million but about 30 each side and then band exercises too)..

Oh and by the way, I'm on a quest to find some type of protien shake that I actually can stand. I am trying GNC's total lean right now and if i dont put it in something i tend to gag when I drink it.

2 slices of rasian toast
1/2 protein shake
2 clementines
grilled prok chops

I worked out from 1:00 - 2:00 (I actually just walked to the gym instead of driving too)

Red Bell Pepper
CiCi's Pizza (ouch)

7:00 - 8:00 I attempted to walk off some of my dinner

Day 3 of Project Me

Yesterday was a weird day..

I did pretty good with my food and exercise but I was just feeling a little bit off. I think part of it is that I am trying to cut out Caffiene. I decided that I am not going to deny myself stuff that I want. If I want a coke, or a candy bar, I'm going to have it. Then Im going to move on, Im not going to go over board on it though.

I got in a good 3 miles of cardio and then did upper body yesterday. My arms and chest are actually a little sore this morning.

Here is what I ate yesterday

WW Choc Smoothie, Strawberry Oatmeal and ater,
Carrot Sticks
WW Smart Ones and Yogurt

Worked out from 4:30 to 6:00

Day 2 of Project Me

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Work wise I new I was getting closer to not being on call so that helped me get through the day.

I took a new class at the Y called Body Vibe and it was okay, I'll go back next week and see if I remember any of it. :)

Emma got to play with her girlfriends in the apartment last night so she was in heaven. After that we cuddled in the recliner and both ended up falling asleep. It was nice and relaxing, just what I needed after this week so far.

I am going to be working from home for the next few days because I don't have daycare, so I'm really trying to make sure I think of everything I'm going to need so I dont have to head in to the office for anything. I really enjoy the fact that my job is flexible like that so I dont have to take vacation time off just because I dont have daycare.

Yesterday I had Oatmeal and a scoop of protein powder (not sure if i like it yet) and yogurt for breakfast, Strawberries for a snack, a WW Smart Ones with a Protein Shake for lunch, green peppers for snack (oh yeah and I also had a small bag of M&M's) I did my 25 mins of cardio on the elliptical before class and then then class after. I had a fried Egg sandwich, a pickle and some sugar free jello for dinner before passing out!!!!

Project Me - Day 1

So I have decided to kick it...I want to lose 50 pounds, and I was/am struggling with how, I've tried weight watchers and I'm totally bored with it. So I called up my old personal trainer and I'm back on the kick and want to work it out.

I decided that the only way I can keep myself true is to document every day what I eat, and my physical activity.

So today for breakfast I had Oatmeal, Yogurt, and a WW Smoothie, I had clemintines for a snack, for lunch I had a Healthy Choice meal with a yogurt, and afternoon snack I had green peppers, for dinner I had 1 1/2 chicken breast and some fat free jello.

I worked out tonight for an hour and I did the bike, arm cycle thingy, and got in 10 miles and man did it suck, I was doing this target heart rate thing and so it was going from level 10 to level 30, my legs felt like jello afterwards.

I drank about 6 bottles of water 22 oz each.

I am ready to start tomorrow and I look forward to hearing from my trainer on some food choices and stuff.

Day 4 - Happy Birthday Paul

Today was a good day, Emma woke up with a smile on her face this morning!

Work was good, I had a PBJ sandwhich for breakfast and some beef brisket for lunch (4 pieces). I also had a hot chocolate, for dinner we had tater tot hotdish (very small portion, as this is not my fav meal) to celebrate my brother's 30th birthday. I can't believe that Paul is already 30!!

Tomorrow is my Friday at work...whoohoo I am so happy!!

Day 3

I had a pretty good day today..considering that we had a holiday luncheon where I swear there was like 1,000,000 calories just staring me in the face saying eat me, eat me please.

Work was normal, for breakfast I had a bowl of Cookie Crisp Cereal, for lunch ok get this, I had 3 butternut squash ravioli, 2 pieces of beef brisket, some pretzel pieces with some asigo dip (bad lorry). I had a brownie and some cream puffs for dessert. Now I know that pretty bad, but here is what i could have had

Buffalo Wings
Spinich Dip
Broasted Chicken
Baked Spaghetti
Drunken Apples
Famous Dave's Beans
Corn Bread Muffins
Beer Bread
Cheese Cake

So see, I really did a pretty good job!

I also made it to the gym tonight and got in some nice cardio and worked the arms a bit. I have to admit i was in the gym last night, and I pretty much left after cardio because the people that were there last night were working my every nerve, and i was feeling like I was gonna punch one of them if I didnt walk out..

I wrapped Pauls birthday present tonight, he's gonna be the big 30 tomorow.. Happy Birthday little bro, and I actually made a christmas present tonight. Yes I said made, as in Homemade.

Day 2

So today was pretty darn good, I got more christmas stuff put up (stockings, nativity scene, and the rest of our ornaments). I got to the gym after work and did some good cardio, then did a little bit of legs but in all honesty the people there were just ticking me off. I mean come on, you people are hardly ever there and then you want to come in an act like you own the joint. Okay so on the food.....

I had oatmeal and cheese its for breakfast (whats up with the cheese its, i was starving at 10 thats what my problem was)
I had a ruben sandwhich with fries and diet coke (i only ate a quarter of my fries)
A couple glasses of water
A Chicken Breast and some basmati rice (2 1/2 servings of rice)
A glass of 1 percent milk
A couple cans of diet soda.

So over all not to horrible, but tomorrow is another story, we are having lunch catered in (famous daves, tuchi benuch, and tons o appetizers and treats). I am going to do my best to just have a little bit of stuff with more healthy choices.
